What's Happening?
The NBA Foundation is marking its sixth anniversary, celebrating its efforts to provide economic opportunities for under-resourced youth. Since its inception in 2020, the Foundation has partnered with all 30 NBA teams to deploy grants for workforce development.
It has served over 1 million youth, supported more than 300 nonprofit organizations, and awarded $165 million in grants. The Foundation's programs, such as the NBA HBCU Fellowship and All-Star Pitch Competition, aim to empower young people through education and career opportunities.
