High Point University (HPU) has announced significant changes in its track and field and cross country programs following the retirement of longtime coach Mike Esposito. Remy Tamer has been appointed as the Director of Track & Field/Cross Country, having
previously served as the women's cross country coach since 2016. Dr. Scott Hall has been named the program's first-ever general manager, overseeing administrative duties. Shamoya Pruitt and Collin Post have been promoted to associate head coaches, focusing on sprints, hurdles, horizontal jumps, and throws, respectively. New assistant coaches Anne Akagi-Koons and Zach Ferrara have also joined the staff, bringing experience from Radford and Nazareth University.
