Inditex has partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to explore the potential of transforming brewery waste into sustainable textiles and dyes. The project, titled 'Circular Innovation: Hop-Derived Fibers and Eco-Dyes for Sustainable
Textiles,' aims to utilize plant waste from hop cultivation, a by-product of beer production, to create high-value raw materials for the textile industry. This initiative is part of the MIT-Spain Inditex Circularity Seed Fund, which supports research in circular economy and sustainability. The project involves researchers from the University of La Coruña and the brewing company Corporación Hijos de Rivera.
