What's Happening?
Krispy Kreme has announced a new lineup of doughnuts inspired by popular Girl Scout Cookie flavors. Starting July 7, 2026, these limited-time offerings will be available at participating locations across the United States. The new collection includes
three distinct flavors: Thin Mints, Lemon-Ups, and Coconut Caramel, each designed to capture the essence of the beloved cookies. The Thin Mints Doughnut features an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with Thin Mints cookie crumbles and dark chocolate chips, and drizzled with mint green icing. The Lemon-Ups Doughnut is an unglazed shell filled with Lemon Crisp Kreme filling, dipped in lemon-flavored icing, and finished with a lemon-inspired design. Lastly, the Coconut Caramel Doughnut is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with coconut and caramel, reminiscent of Samoas and Caramel deLite cookies. This initiative aims to satisfy cookie lovers during the offseason for Girl Scout Cookies, which are typically sold from January to April.
Why It's Important?
This collaboration between Krispy Kreme and Girl Scout Cookies highlights the enduring popularity and cultural significance of these iconic flavors. By introducing these doughnuts, Krispy Kreme taps into the nostalgia and widespread appeal of Girl Scout Cookies, potentially boosting sales and attracting new customers. This move also provides an opportunity for Krispy Kreme to innovate and diversify its product offerings, keeping the brand fresh and relevant in a competitive market. For consumers, this offers a unique way to enjoy their favorite cookie flavors outside the traditional sales period, potentially increasing foot traffic to Krispy Kreme locations and enhancing customer engagement.
