The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library (EVPL) Foundation has announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 EVPL Foundation Art Awards. These awards aim to recognize significant contributions to the arts within southwestern Indiana. The awards will

Categories for the awards include the Mayor’s Art Award, Visual Art Award, Performing Art Award, Literary Art Award, Culinary Art Award, Young Artist Award, Art Educator Award, and Art Project Award. The Mayor’s Art Award, to be presented by Mayor Stephanie Terry, is a prestigious honor recognizing individuals whose contributions have had a substantial impact on the community. Nominations are open until August 14, 2026, and can be submitted via the EVPL website.
