Thomson Reuters has announced the general availability of the next generation of CoCounsel Legal, an AI ecosystem designed for legal professionals. This enhanced platform aims to streamline legal work from research and issue analysis to the creation of trusted
work products within a single workflow. Built on Anthropic's Claude Agent SDK and grounded in the authority of Westlaw and Practical Law, CoCounsel Legal is engineered to reason, plan, and execute complex legal tasks. The system integrates legal research, drafting, intelligence, verification, and matter-centric workflows, enabling law firms and legal departments to move efficiently from questions to strategy and execution.
