Zelio E-Mobility, a rapidly growing manufacturer of electric two and three-wheelers, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This facility, spanning approximately 39,000 square feet, is part of the company's strategic expansion
across South India. It will support the assembly, storage, and logistics of electric scooters, primarily serving markets in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and South Maharashtra. The Coimbatore plant adds 60,000 units to Zelio's annual production capacity, bringing the total to 240,000 units per year. Initially, the plant is expected to produce 24,000 to 30,000 electric two-wheelers annually, with plans to scale up production as market demand increases. The facility currently employs 30 workers and is part of a broader plan to increase the workforce to over 500 employees within the financial year.

As part of its growth strategy, Zelio aims to expand its dealership network to over 550 by the fiscal year 2027.
