Nigerian designer Adebayo Oke-Lawal unveiled Orange Culture's Spring 2027 collection at the International Congress Centrum in Berlin. The collection, titled 'Water Will Carry Us,' draws inspiration from Makoko, a historic fishing community in Lagos. The designs
feature vibrant colors and intricate craftsmanship, with elements like handwoven Aso Oke and guinea cloth reimagined into contemporary fashion pieces. The collection includes 24 looks that incorporate saturated colors, sheer layers, and asymmetrical designs, reflecting Makoko's unique architecture and cultural heritage. Collaborations with various artists and designers contributed to the collection's diverse and rich aesthetic.
