Tenet Security has successfully raised $6 million in seed funding to advance its innovative security technology, known as Agent-side Simulation. This technology is designed to predict and prevent potentially harmful actions by AI agents before they occur.
The system uses a lightweight runtime sensor to monitor operating system behavior, network and API calls, and the reasoning of large language models (LLMs). If a suspicious trajectory is detected, the simulation predicts the next move and blocks execution if deemed harmful. This approach addresses a new class of attack termed 'agentjacking,' where malicious content embedded in agent inputs covertly redirects the agent's behavior. Tenet's technology aims to fill a security gap for enterprises deploying autonomous agents, which often operate beyond the awareness of security teams.
