Peterson Manufacturing has launched the Genesis Truck and Trailer Lights, designed to address the prevalent issue of partial LED failures in the trucking industry. Traditional LED lights often suffer from a design flaw where multiple diodes share the same
circuit path, leading to entire sections of the lamp going dark if a single diode fails. This can pose significant safety and compliance risks for fleets. The Genesis lights feature a fail-safe architecture that ensures the lamp remains operational as long as the vehicle is powered, thereby enhancing visibility and reducing the risk of roadside violations. These lights are available in Peterson's premium lighting lines, specifically in nine-diode round and 10-diode oval configurations, promising improved performance, reliability, and visibility.
