What's Happening?
Mews, a hospitality operating system, has been recognized as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Revenue Management Systems in Hospitality for 2026. The system integrates pricing, property operations, and business intelligence on a single data
model, allowing for real-time rate adjustments based on live reservation and occupancy data. This approach contrasts with traditional batch processing methods, offering continuous optimization and reducing the time hoteliers spend reconciling data. Mews RMS, launched in May 2026, is part of the Mews Operating System and is built on technology acquired from Atomize in 2024. The system recalculates rates approximately every five minutes, generating around 288 updates per property per day.
Why It's Important?
The recognition of Mews as a leader in the IDC MarketScape highlights a significant shift in the hospitality industry's approach to revenue management. By integrating pricing, property operations, and business intelligence into a single platform, Mews offers a more efficient and accurate system for hoteliers. This integration reduces the need for manual data reconciliation and allows for more strategic decision-making. The ability to adjust rates in real-time based on live data can lead to increased revenue and improved operational efficiency for hotels. As the hospitality industry continues to evolve, systems like Mews RMS that offer seamless integration and real-time data processing are likely to become increasingly important.
