What's Happening?
The BMC3I TAP Lab, in partnership with Catalyst Campus, has announced a new multi-phased program aimed at enhancing collaboration between commercial innovators and government stakeholders. This initiative supports Battle Management, Command, Control,
Communications, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I) mission needs. The program kicks off with the 'Mission Catalyst Summit,' a three-day event designed to introduce participants to the BMC3I TAP Lab and its mission priorities. The summit will be followed by a six-week cohort experience for selected teams to align their technologies with mission needs. This program seeks to accelerate the development and transition of commercial technologies into operational use.
Why It's Important?
This initiative is significant as it fosters innovation and collaboration between the private sector and government, crucial for advancing national security and space intelligence capabilities. By creating a streamlined pathway for technology engagement, the program aims to address emerging challenges and enhance the operational success of BMC3I missions. The collaboration between Catalyst Campus and the BMC3I TAP Lab exemplifies the growing trend of public-private partnerships in technology development, which can lead to more efficient and effective solutions for complex mission requirements.
What's Next?
The Mission Catalyst Summit will take place from July 21-23, 2026, in Colorado Springs, serving as the entry point for organizations interested in the BMC3I mission. Following the summit, applications for Phase 1 of the program will open, allowing selected teams to participate in a cohort experience. This phase will involve workshops, expert consultations, and direct collaboration with mission stakeholders. The program's success could lead to further phases and expanded opportunities for technology innovators to contribute to BMC3I mission needs.
