Abu Dhabi's XRG is expanding its global energy and industrial investment portfolio by making significant investments in liquefied natural gas (LNG), chemicals, advanced materials, and upstream gas projects across the Americas. This expansion is part of
XRG's strategy to strengthen its position as a global investor and support energy security and industrial growth. The company has invested in the Rio Grande LNG project in Texas, acquiring equity interests in all five LNG trains under construction. This project is one of the largest LNG developments globally, providing XRG access to substantial U.S. natural gas resources. Additionally, XRG is increasing its presence in Argentina's Vaca Muerta basin and expanding its chemicals and advanced materials footprint in North America.
