JetBlue has officially unveiled its new 'BlueFirst' domestic first-class cabin, marking the airline's first foray into a traditional first-class offering for U.S. routes. This new product will be rolled out across its fleet, excluding planes already equipped
with the lie-flat Mint product. The BlueFirst seats, manufactured by Collins Aerospace, are customized with JetBlue's signature 13.3-inch seatback screens, Bluetooth connectivity, and plush 'flex foam' from Tuft and Needle. Passengers can expect up to seven additional inches of legroom and generous recline. The 'soft product' offerings include bento-inspired meals on flights 899 miles or longer, featuring entrees, sides, and desserts. Beverage options will include coffee from Cometeer and Joe Coffee, teas from Smith Teamaker, and wines curated by Parcelle, served in glassware with custom coasters. A 'Mixologist Mode' on entertainment screens will allow for seatback meal and cocktail ordering. While standard and 'flex' BlueFirst tickets include two free checked bags, Group 1 boarding, and no change or cancellation fees, a 'basic' version with restrictions is also planned. Lounge access is not automatically included with BlueFirst tickets; it is reserved for premium credit card holders, Mint seat passengers, or those with Mosaic 4 status.
