Laney College in Oakland has unveiled a new mural titled 'Unity Through Diversity,' created by students in Art 129. The mural, located at 501 Fifth Street, reflects Oakland's history, natural environment, and diverse communities. The project was a collaborative
effort involving students, faculty, and community members, and was inaugurated with a Mayan blessing ceremony. The mural features symbols of unity, education, and social justice, incorporating local cultural and historical elements.
