Marriott International and Catalonia Hotels & Resorts have entered into agreements to develop all-inclusive resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Zanzibar, Tanzania. The Zanzibar project is set to open in 2027 as a new-build Autograph Collection All-Inclusive
Resort, featuring 271 guestrooms and a variety of amenities including multiple swimming pools, a spa, a theater, and specialty restaurants. The Montego Bay resort, expected to open in 2028, will be a conversion of the former Catalonia Montego Bay, offering 522 rooms and extensive facilities such as dining venues, pools, and meeting spaces. These developments are part of Marriott's strategy to expand its all-inclusive portfolio in key leisure markets.
