causing DRAM revenue to rise sharply. According to TrendForce, HBM wafer input is projected to account for 22% of total DRAM wafer input by the end of 2026, increasing to 30% by 2027. This shift in production focus has resulted in a constrained supply of conventional DRAM, keeping prices elevated. Despite new manufacturing capacity being developed, UBS forecasts that the balance between DRAM supply and demand will not be achieved until the second quarter of 2028.
