What's Happening?
Three members of the University of the Incarnate Word men's golf team have been recognized as NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for the 2025-2026 season. The Golf Coaches Association of America announced that Thomas Chalk, Francisco Taboada,
and Joel Talusen received this honor. To qualify, athletes must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a stroke average under 76.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.2. This marks the second academic accolade for these athletes this season, as they were also named to the Southland All-Academic Team. Chalk has achieved this recognition for the second consecutive year.
