Saothair Capital Partners, a private investment firm specializing in middle-market manufacturing and industrial businesses, has completed the acquisition of CCR American Holdings, Inc. (FIFCO USA) from Distribuidora La Florida, S.A., a subsidiary of Heineken
N.V. Following this transaction, FIFCO USA will revert to its former name, North American Breweries (NAB). Heineken N.V. was represented by Sidley Austin LLP for legal counsel during this acquisition, with Bank of America serving as its financial advisor. Jenner & Block LLP provided legal counsel to Saothair Capital Partners. North American Breweries, headquartered in Rochester, New York, is a prominent U.S. brewer with a portfolio including Labatt, Genesee, Seagram’s Escapes, Lipton Hard Iced Tea, and Bubly Wine Refresher. The company also operates as a significant provider of full-service contract brewing for alcoholic beverages in the U.S., operating out of the Genesee Brewery and employing over 700 individuals.
