SAGA Metals Corp., a North American mining company, has commenced preparations for a significant drilling program at its Wolverine Heavy Rare Earth Element Project in Labrador, Canada. The company has mobilized crews, equipment, and supplies to establish
camp facilities and infrastructure for a planned 4,000 to 5,000-meter diamond drill program. This initiative aims to expand upon previous drilling results from 2025, which confirmed broad, near-surface rare earth element (REE) mineralization. The project is strategically important due to its potential to supply critical minerals essential for modern technologies, including defense systems, electric vehicles, and wind turbines. The Wolverine project is located within a peralkaline caldera complex, known for its significant REE deposits.
