What's Happening?
A4 has announced the honorees for its 2026 Annual Benefit awards. Padma Lakshmi, an Emmy-nominated producer and television host, will receive the Vanguard Award. Lakshmi is recognized for her contributions to the culinary world and her advocacy for immigrants'
and women's rights. She is also a co-founder of the Endometriosis Foundation of America and serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme. Yao King, founder of YKAM, will receive the Community Champion Award for his philanthropic work in the AAPI creative community. King has supported Asian-led films and organized opportunities for creatives across various industries. His efforts include co-founding the #GoldOpen movement and the annual Asian Comedy Fest.
