United Airlines has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval to unlock privacy doors in its Polaris suites on select Boeing 787-9 aircraft. These suites, part of United's international business class, offer enhanced privacy and comfort
for travelers. The privacy doors, which were previously locked pending certification, are now being unlocked, with all expected to be operational within weeks. United's Polaris suites also feature 19-inch 4K OLED screens and other amenities. The airline plans to introduce similar privacy features in its upcoming Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
