NM State Volleyball Head Coach Mike Jordan secured his 600th career victory as his team defeated UC Irvine in a five-set match at the Bulldog Invitational. The Aggies won 3-2 (25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 16-25, 15-13) in a hard-fought contest. The win marks
the second victory of the young season for NM State. Outside hitter Tess Fuqua led the Aggies' offense with 13 kills and also contributed 10 digs, achieving the team's first double-double of the season. Ashley Herman added a season-high 12 kills with a .550 hitting percentage, while freshman Lilli Saldivar contributed 11 kills, including the match-winning point. Jaelynn Kohli also reached double-digit kills with 10. The Aggies overcame a fourth-set loss and an early deficit in the decisive fifth set to clinch the milestone win.
