What's Happening?
Vault Strategic Mining has announced significant findings from its phase one exploration program at the War Bond Tungsten Project in Nevada, USA. The company reported tungsten values reaching up to 1,100 parts per million (ppm) from rock and soil samples
collected across the project area, which includes historical mining sites. The exploration revealed widespread anomalous tungsten and manganese values, with the highest tungsten concentration found in garnet-rich tactite samples. These findings suggest a structurally controlled tungsten-skarn system, which Vault Strategic plans to further explore and develop.
Why It's Important?
The discovery of high tungsten values is significant for Vault Strategic as it positions the company to potentially become a key player in the U.S. tungsten market. Tungsten is a critical mineral with applications in various industries, including aerospace, defense, and electronics. The U.S. currently relies heavily on imports for its tungsten supply, making domestic sources like the War Bond project strategically important. Successful development of this project could enhance U.S. mineral independence and contribute to the national economy.
What's Next?
Vault Strategic plans to integrate the exploration results with previous data to refine geological interpretations and identify drill targets. The company is preparing a maiden NI 43-101 technical report to support further exploration and development efforts. As the project progresses, Vault Strategic may seek additional funding or partnerships to advance its exploration activities. The outcome of these efforts could influence the company's market position and the broader U.S. tungsten supply chain.
