In Studio City, Los Angeles, the Obsidian House stands as a modern architectural marvel that seamlessly integrates nature into its design. Created by Shlomi Sfadia of SLS Properties with architecture by Avi Galili and landscape design by Studio Elico,
the residence is a two-level home with approximately 5,550 square feet of interior space. The design emphasizes the connection between indoor living and the surrounding landscape, featuring a 24-foot indoor planter that serves as the centerpiece of the home. The house's color palette of deep charcoals and muted wood tones, along with materials like charred wood cladding and limestone, enhances its natural setting. The landscape design by Studio Elico further blurs the lines between the interior and exterior, creating a cohesive environment that feels like a private retreat.
