Laurence Frenette, a former forward for the Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team, has signed a contract with SDE Hockey in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). Frenette, who hails from Boisbriand, Quebec, concluded her college career with the Bobcats
by achieving personal bests in assists and points, and was part of the team that won the ECAC Championship. Her final collegiate goal was scored in a decisive 4-0 victory over Franklin Pierce during the NCAA Tournament's Regional Semifinal. Before her time at Quinnipiac, Frenette played three seasons with the Clarkson Golden Knights. She now joins an SDE Hockey team that ended the 2025-26 season with a record of 19-6-11, ultimately losing in the semifinals to the eventual champions, Frolunda HC.
