Toyox Co., Ltd., an industrial hose manufacturer, is collaborating with the University of Toyama on a circular economy project named 'Hose Laboratory.' This initiative aims to convert industrial PVC and resin pellet offcuts, typically considered scrap
from hose production for sectors like food processing and pharmaceuticals, into practical consumer products. The project involves company personnel, Associate Professor Yukio Arita from the university's Faculty of Art and Design, and design students.
