KISS is commemorating the 50th anniversary of their album 'Rock And Roll Over' with the release of two Super Deluxe box sets on November 6. These sets will feature an extensive collection of 130 tracks, including 100 previously unreleased tracks and mixes.
The original 1976 stereo album has been newly remastered by Bernie Grundman, and original producer and engineer Eddie Kramer has created an entirely new 2026 stereo mix from the analog multitrack tapes. Kramer's involvement dates back to the album's creation, where he recorded the band performing in a theater to capture their live sound. The anniversary editions will also include 22 previously unreleased demos, alternate mixes, and outtakes, such as nine Gene Simmons demos and an instrumental demo titled 'Queen For A Day.' Additionally, the collection will feature newly mixed performances from KISS's April 1977 concerts at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan, mixed by Kramer from the original analog multitrack recordings. The Blu-ray Audio disc will offer new Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround presentations of the original 1976 mix by David Frangioni, alongside Kramer's 2026 album mix and high-resolution stereo versions.
