Edible Garden AG Incorporated, a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA), has announced the appointment of Ernesto Insignares, MBA, as Senior Project Manager. Mr. Insignares, a veteran from Tetra Pak, will be instrumental in overseeing the development
and execution of the company’s Prairie Hills ready-to-drink (RTD) clean nutrition manufacturing facility located in Webster City, Iowa. This approximately 400,000-square-foot facility is being transformed into a high-capacity manufacturing hub for shelf-stable nutritional beverages. Edible Garden anticipates that, at full capacity, the Prairie Hills facility will be capable of manufacturing over 100 million beverage units annually. These units will serve the company’s branded products, as well as private-label customers and strategic partners. The appointment of Mr. Insignares comes as the Prairie Hills project transitions from its planning and design phases towards construction, equipment installation, and eventual commercial production. His background includes extensive experience in capital expenditure management, project planning and execution, budgeting, project governance, and stakeholder coordination, particularly within complex manufacturing and processing initiatives.
