The Cal Poly Mustangs women's volleyball team has achieved its best start in Big West Conference play since 2019, securing a 6-0 record after a weekend sweep. The team defeated Long Beach State in straight sets (25-12, 25-17, 25-22) and also swept Cal State Fullerton.
This marks their sixth consecutive win and places them alone at the top of the conference standings. The Mustangs displayed strong offensive performance, hitting .378 against Long Beach State with four players recording at least eight kills. Sophomore middle blocker Charlotte Kelly leads the team and the Big West with a .431 hitting percentage, consistently achieving errorless hitting in eight of the last ten matches. The team also demonstrated strong defensive play with 7.5 total blocks against Long Beach State, highlighted by Breklyn Pulling's four blocks. Setter Alexis Haury contributed a double-double with 34 assists and 15 digs.
