CS PowerTech, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., has officially opened its new PV cell manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This facility is the first in the U.S. designed to produce heterojunction (HJT) bifacial N-type solar cells, marking
a significant step in reshoring advanced manufacturing to the U.S. The plant is expected to produce over 6 GWp annually and create more than 1,200 jobs, representing nearly $1 billion in local investment.
