Iondrive Limited has announced the commencement of its first five-tonne IONSolv production campaign in North America, marking a significant step in its commercialisation strategy. The campaign aims to produce approximately 1.4 tonnes of mixed rare earth
oxide (MREO) by the fourth quarter of 2026. This initiative is part of Iondrive's efforts to recover valuable rare earth elements from end-of-life permanent magnets using its proprietary IONSolv technology. The company is leveraging existing North American processing infrastructure to conduct this campaign, which is designed to support downstream customer qualification programs and provide operational data for future commercial development. The campaign is expected to bridge laboratory validation with commercial deployment, offering a pathway to recover critical materials like neodymium, praseodymium, and dysprosium, which are essential for industries such as defense, automotive, and renewable energy.
