Jake Weissenburger, a member of the Drake men's golf team, has been recognized as a 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-American Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). This accolade is awarded to student-athletes who meet specific academic and
athletic criteria, including maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and participating in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds. Weissenburger, a Business Studies major from Clive, Iowa, achieved a scoring average of 73.91 over the past season and participated in all 11 events for the Bulldogs. His performance included four top-20 finishes, with a notable top-10 result at the Zach Johnson Invitational.
