What's Happening?
Lachlan Star has commenced a 4,000-meter reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the New Waverley Gold Project. This initiative follows the identification of a shallow, high-grade gold system within the project area. The drilling program aims to
infill and extend previously reported mineralization, which includes significant gold findings. The New Waverley project is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia and shares geological characteristics with other notable deposits in the Norseman Goldfield. The program is expected to be completed in three to four weeks, with assay results to follow. CEO Andrew Tyrrell highlighted the importance of this program in defining the extent of quartz reef shoots within the mineralized shear corridor, which could lead to further discoveries.
