Starboard has launched its new Flux SUP paddle, designed to enhance efficiency and reduce paddler fatigue. This innovative paddle combines features from Starboard's existing Enduro and Velocity models, aiming for a smoother stroke and higher cadence with
less muscular load. The Flux incorporates winglets along the blade, a technology adapted from foiling development, to control water flow and minimize turbulence, resulting in a more stable feel. It also features a double-concave blade shape for even pressure distribution and consistent power, reducing unwanted movement and splash. The blade has a thin, flat tip for clean entry and exit, set at a 13-degree angle, making it suitable for SUP surfing, touring, and general paddling. Starboard offers the Flux in Carbon and Prepreg Carbon constructions, with various blade sizes and shaft flex options to cater to different paddling styles and preferences.
