What's Happening?
Viking has announced two new river voyages for 2030 that will allow guests to experience the Oberammergau Passion Play in Germany, a tradition performed every ten years since 1633. The itineraries, 'Oberammergau, Innsbruck & the Rhine' and 'Oberammergau with
Salzburg,' will offer preferred seating at the 43rd Passion Play. These voyages will take guests through historic regions along the Rhine and Danube rivers, including Bavaria, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. Viking, a leading name in experiential travel, has been a North American partner of the Passion Play organizers since 2010, allowing them to integrate this cultural event into their itineraries seamlessly.
Why It's Important?

It also reinforces Viking's position as a leader in the travel industry, known for offering unique and immersive experiences.
