Trainer Vernon Beachy had a successful night at Eldorado Scioto Downs, sweeping the $75,000 Ohio Sires Stakes for 2-year-old male trotters and setting a new track record. Mind On My Moni, driven by Chris Lems, set a new track record of 1:53.3 for 2-year-old gelding
trotters. The horse, owned by 518 Group, Gitup Racing, Ryan Smith, and Todd’s Auto, is undefeated in five lifetime starts. Beachy also won with Debt Free, another Ready For Moni gelding, in 1:54.2. Debt Free, owned by the same group, has now earned $83,750. Beachy’s filly winner, Made For More, won in 1:54.1, adding to the trainer's successful night.
