in the region. These projects include new construction, facility expansions, equipment modernization, and plant renovations. Key industries benefiting from these investments are automotive, food and beverage, aerospace, data centers, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and distribution and warehousing. Notable projects include a $4 billion expansion of an automotive manufacturing facility in Alabama, a $500 million electronic component manufacturing and research facility, and a $3 billion data center campus in Virginia. Additionally, a medical device manufacturer is investing $1 billion in a distribution facility in Florida.
