ESPN has announced a significant expansion of its NFL preseason coverage through a new partnership with the NFL Network. This collaboration will see the NFL Network broadcasting 19 live, out-of-market games during the 2026 preseason. Additionally, ESPN's
Unlimited plan on the ESPN App will offer 12 more out-of-market games live. ESPN will also nationally televise the Raiders vs. Texans game on August 20, marking the potential debut of rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza. As part of the agreement, all 48 preseason games will be re-aired on the NFL Network. The preseason is scheduled to start on August 13 and conclude on August 29.
