RareX, in partnership with Iluka Resources, has advanced to the request for proposal stage in Kenya's tender process for the Mrima Hill Niobium and Rare Earths Project. This advancement follows the consortium's
shortlisting by Kenya's Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs. The proposal emphasizes local value creation and aligns with Kenya's long-term objectives. The consortium plans to leverage Iluka's Eneabba rare earths refinery in Australia, supported by a significant loan from the Australian Government, to process the extracted materials.
