What's Happening?
The Salisbury University women’s volleyball team has unveiled its 2026 schedule, featuring six home games at the Maggs Physical Activities Center and a series of challenging tournaments on the road. The Sea Gulls will open their season at home on September
1 against Stockton. The schedule includes the Margie Knight Classic on September 4-5, where Salisbury will host Drew, Lebanon Valley, and Muskingum. The team will also participate in several competitive quadrangular tournaments, including matches against Trinity (Texas), Bowdoin, and Tufts in Medford, Massachusetts, and against Benedictine (Illinois) and Batten at Batten University. October will see the Sea Gulls in key Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) matches, including the C2C Invitational and tri-matches at Stevenson and Rowan.

The 2026 schedule is significant for Salisbury University’s women’s volleyball team as it provides opportunities to build on their previous successes, including a program-record fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025. The schedule is designed to maximize home-court advantage early in the season and prepare the team for rigorous away competitions. The return of key players such as All-Region setter Julie Altieri and All-American right-side hitter Kiley McTaggart, along with experienced leadership from head coach Kendall Jacobsen, positions the team well for another successful season.

The Sea Gulls will focus on their early home games to establish a strong start to the season. As they progress through the schedule, the team will aim to maintain their competitive edge in both non-conference and C2C matches. The regular season will conclude with Senior Day on November 6, followed by the C2C Tournament at Mary Washington on November 13-14, where the team will seek to capitalize on their experience and talent to achieve further success.
