The Idaho Vandals men's cross country team achieved a fourth-place finish in the 8K race at the Whitworth Frank Knott XC Classic in Spokane, Washington. Freshman Miles Lechtenberg led the team with an 8K time of 24:15.8, securing a top-ten individual
finish and setting a new personal best. Sophomore Evan Jones followed closely, finishing 18th with a time of 24:38.7, also a personal best. Other notable performances included junior James Hodgson and sophomore Jaysen Rodriquez, who contributed to the team's strong showing with season and personal bests. On the women's side, senior Mary Nakamura recorded a season-best time of 22:25.1 in the 6K, and junior Malia Chipouras achieved a new personal best of 22:46.7. Although the women's team did not have enough runners to qualify for a team score, individual athletes demonstrated significant improvement.
