What's Happening?
The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation recently concluded its annual Bleu Blanc Bouge Camp, providing a summer camp experience for 5th and 6th graders from underprivileged backgrounds in Montreal. Since its inception in 2017, the camp has offered
a unique opportunity for these children to engage in various outdoor activities and personal development. This year, 80 students participated, bringing the total number of attendees since 2017 to 717. For nearly 90% of these children, it marked their first-ever summer camp experience. The camp aims to offer a space where children can be themselves, make new friends, and temporarily set aside daily challenges, as explained by Geneviève Paquette, President and Executive Director of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, hiking, climbing, high ropes courses, and archery, encouraging participants to explore new interests and push their limits.
