John Marshall High School's golf team clinched their first Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) 5A golf title since 2017, triumphing over University High School in a tiebreaker at Speidel Golf Club’s Jones Course at Oglebay. Both teams finished with
a total of 329 strokes after 18 holes, but John Marshall secured the championship due to their lower-scoring fifth man, Drew Marling, who carded an 86 compared to University's Jagger Barnes' 99. The Monarchs' victory was a collective effort, with strong performances from Hayden Harvey (81), Brayden Kempkens (82), Rex Mallery (82), and Kamden Knapp (84). In the OVAC 3A golf tournament, Wheeling Central dominated, claiming their third consecutive title on the Crispin Course at Oglebay Resort. Led by junior Rowen Parker, who earned medalist honors with a 75, Wheeling Central posted a team total of 304, significantly ahead of second-place Columbiana's 323. Head coach Jim Mortakis celebrated his 10th OVAC championship win with this victory.
