Prominence Energy has successfully completed negotiations for a native title agreement concerning four petroleum exploration license applications in South Australia's Gawler region. The agreement, involving Prominence's subsidiaries Cryptid Clean Energy and
Gehyra Holdings, is set to be executed with the Arabana Aboriginal Corporation, the registered native title body corporate of the Arabana people. This agreement pertains to licenses PELA 566, PELA 581, PELA 752, and PELA 753, covering a total area of 19,889 square kilometers in the Northern Hinge area of the Gawler Helium and Natural Hydrogen Project. While the execution of the Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) is a critical step, it does not equate to the award of the acreage, as the applications are still subject to government processes and final approval from the South Australian Government. The negotiations, which took approximately four years, are seen as a significant step forward in Prominence's exploration strategy.

What's Next?
Prominence Energy plans to complete a prospective resources review for the Eyre Project by the end of August, followed by a review of the Northern Hinge area by the end of September. A revised drilling engineering and cost review is scheduled for October. The company estimates that approximately $5 million could fund three exploration wells or two wells with additional seismic data acquisition. Drilling is targeted for June or July 2027, contingent upon the award of licenses, technical results, funding, and necessary regulatory and operational approvals. Prominence's existing cash reserves are expected to support the planned technical work and detailed drilling program planning throughout 2026.
