Radius Rooftop Lounge, located atop the Embassy Suites by Hilton on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville, has unveiled a $2.5 million expansion plan. The project will add a 1,500-square-foot space, to be named The Reserve at Radius Rooftop Lounge, designed
to host private parties and events for up to 75 people. Construction is currently underway, with a New Year's Eve opening scheduled for December 31. This expansion follows a previous project by the same hotel, which involved extending its second-story balcony from Gay Street to the Union Avenue side of the building. The balcony expansion received $100,000 in financial support from the nonprofit Downtown Knoxville Alliance and will be accessible to the public, not just hotel guests or customers of the KoPita Authentic Mediterranean restaurant on the second floor. The Radius Rooftop Lounge itself is also open to the public with varying hours throughout the week.
