Exxaro Resources, a diversified resources group, has announced the appointment of two new nonexecutive directors, Shireen Naidoo and Kefilwe Bopape, effective July 1. Naidoo, an independent sustainability and environmental, social, and governance adviser,
joins the group's risk and business resilience committee and its social, ethics, and responsibility committee. She brings over 30 years of expertise in health and safety, sustainability, and corporate governance. Bopape, nominated as a shareholder representative of Eyesizwe RF, joins the social, ethics, and responsibility committee. She is the head of the National Movement of Rural Women and has a background in industrial sociology, strategy, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Bopape is known for her work in community development and social entrepreneurship, advocating for inclusive development and sustainability.
