report indicates that Sheets had been suffering from insomnia and had a verbal argument with his son, Brandon Sheets, over family issues. His girlfriend recounted that after the argument, Sheets received a distressing text from his daughter-in-law, which left him upset. Following the gunshot, a suicide note was found, mentioning cyberbullying as a factor in his distress. The Mohave County Medical Examiner confirmed his death as a suicide. Sheets' castmates from 'Storage Wars' have acknowledged the cyberbullying allegations, which are part of an ongoing investigation.
