UGREEN has unveiled a new line of smart home hubs, including the HomeAgent HA100, HomeAgent HA100 Pro, and MasterAgent MA100, designed to perform all smart home processing locally rather than relying on cloud-based AI. These devices support Matter-enabled
smart home devices and integrate AI processing capabilities. Each hub also features a 2-bay SATA NAS and dedicated storage for video. The HomeAgent HA100 offers 16GB of RAM and 26 TOPS AI performance, while the HA100 Pro upgrades to 32GB of RAM, additional GPU and NPU processing, and 205 TOPS AI performance. The MasterAgent MA100 is a premium option, incorporating NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 silicon, 128GB RAM, and a 100Gbps PoE switch. These hubs aim to address privacy concerns and subscription costs associated with cloud-dependent smart home ecosystems like Google Home, which continuously process voice input and camera footage in the cloud.
