What's Happening?
OD6 Metals has submitted a plan of operations to the United States Forest Service (USFS) for its initial drilling and bulk-sampling program at the Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada. The proposed plan outlines up to 139 drill pads across key target areas
within the project. The objective of this program is to gather geological, grade, and continuity data necessary for a future mineral resource estimate. Managing Director Brett Hazelden stated that this submission is a significant step for the Quinn project, moving the company closer to drilling what it identifies as a high-grade fluorspar opportunity. The plan is designed to establish a permitting framework to systematically define the fluorspar systems and obtain bulk material for metallurgical and beneficiation testing. The drilling will initially concentrate on the Horseshoe, Mammoth, and Big Jim areas, with the aim of testing the Horseshoe-Mammoth mineralized trend along strike and at depth. OD6 Metals has already completed biological and cultural baseline field surveys and plans to submit final reports to the USFS in October 2026.
